Santiago of Cali

Cali (officially, Santiago of Cali), is the capital of the department of valley of Cauca in Colombia and the third city most filled with the country, after Bogota and medellin.

As the deparmental capital, it shelters of the government of the Valley of the Cauca,

the departmental assembly, the departmental court,

the general district attorney's office,

institutions and arganisms of the state,

also it is the headquarters of the official companies as the police officer EMCALI.

Santiago de Cali was founded in 1536 and though it is one of the most ancient cities of America, only up to the decade of 1930 his development hastened up to turning into one of the principal economic and industrial centers of the country and the principal urban, cultural, economic, industrial an agrarian center of the Colombia south-west.
